Drive the figure-eight circuit with up to eight players. Visit the race marshal beside the starting area to propose a three-lap race. Everyone in the lobby must agree.

Boxes contain shells, throwable bombs, bananas or boosts. Bombs explode after 1.6 seconds and can hit the thrower. Stop in either signed portal in the marshal's clearing for five seconds to travel.
Races require everyone's consent. New arrivals spectate an active race and return to free driving afterward. The lobby keeps running while this menu is open.
